May 16 - Guess what? I woke up this morning and I am STILL a big sister! Today, the Thomas family, and the Sherrick family, and Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Charles, and Auntie Lindsay came to visit. There were so many people at our house!
May 15 - Mummy, Daddy, and Lucy came home today! I was so excited that my baby sister was coming home! Granny and I got balloons and flowers and we baked a birthday cake for Lucy! It was a great day!
May 14 - Today my baby sister was born! Mummy and Daddy woke me up in the middle of the night (8pm) to drive me to the Danbury Birthing Center. Auntie Neaya and Uncle Don met us there to play with me (9 pm). We played hide and seek and Mummy thought it was really neat to hear me having so much fun while she was in labor. After a little while (10:30 pm), Granny and Grandad got there and they played with me too. Then, Daddy came out and told me, "Guess what? You have a baby sister!" (10:55 pm) That is what I always wanted! I prayed for a baby sister every day! Afterwards, Granny and Grandad brought me home to bed and Mummy, Daddy, and Lucy stayed overnight. It was SO exciting and now I am a BIG sister!
Lucy was born at 10:55 pm on Friday, May 14th at Danbury Birthing Center. She was 7 lbs and 19 in.
