A day in the life of Hannah May and Lucy Goosey!: January 2010

December 31 - Uncle Don, Auntie Neaya, Uncle Matt, Auntie Chalise, and Nate came over for New Year's Eve. It was fun, but I didn't make it past 8:30 pm . . . there's always next year!

New Year's Eve 2009

December 28 - Uncle Don, Auntie Linnea, Uncle Simon, and Auntie Kelly came for dinner today. Auntie Kelly read me a story. Then Uncle Simon and Auntie Kelly stayed over night so we could bring them to the airport (that was a LONG drive).

December 27 - Auntie Kimmy and Uncle Rene came to visit today. They brought me a chocolate Sinterklaas and a chocolate H (in Holland, where they live, they celebrate Sinterklaas on December 5th. It is tradition for children to receive a chocolate letter for their name.).

December 26 - Uncle Art, Charlotte, Peggy and George came over for dinner, but Mummy forgot to take any pictures!

December 25 - Happy Christmas!

Santa came! AND he brought me a Nutcracker soldier!

We opened our stockings and had breakfast. Then we opened presents, ichatted with my cousins in North Carolina, opened more presents, had dinner, skyped with my family in England, opened more presents, and went to bed! I was exhausted!

December 24 - Christmas Eve!

We had a busy day today! First we had our first fire in our fireplace. Then Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Charles, Auntie Sarah, and Auntie Kelly came over. We opened presents - I got a new scooter! Then we had linner! Afterwards, we went to Granny's church and we got to light the advent candles. Afterwards we put out mince pies and sherry for Santa, had dinner, and I went to bed to wait for Santa to come!

December 20 - We woke up and the basement door was open! One of the kitties went for a short trip out in the snow!

December 19 - Today we had our annual Christmas party. I had lots of fun with Jet and Haley and everyone else! Because of the impending storm (ha ha) some people didn't come, but we had fun away.

December 13 - Today we went to get family photos taken. Then Auntie Chalise, Uncle Matt, Nate, Auntie Stacey, Uncle John, Haley, Abby, Mummy, Daddy, and I went to Santa's Workshop in Wickham Park. It was lots of fun and I got to tell Santa what I want for Christmas - a Nutcracker Soldier!

December 6 - Today Mummy, Daddy, and I went to help Granny and Grandad decorate their Christmas tree. Granny got me a Playmobile Nativity - it is really neat!

November 29 - Mummy and Daddy and I went to see the Husky dog!

November 27 - Today we put up our Christmas tree!

November 26 - We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Thanksgiving. We went on a walk to a pond near their house and feed the ducks (or geese, Mummy's not sure). Then Grandma, Daddy, and I built a gingerbread house!
