A day in the life of Hannah May and Lucy Goosey!: February 2007

February 19 - Today I got to explore Auntie Sharron's kitchen!

Then we went to Bakewell - the first thing we did was feed the ducks. But these weren't like any ducks I had ever seen!

Mummy, Auntie Sharron, and Granny had fish (or sausage) and chips at the Parakeet Diner - I got to try mushy peas!

We got me measured for big girl shoes!

Then we went for a cup of coffee and a piece of bakewell tart - well, I had teddy cereal!

I was so tired that I fell asleep on the way back to the car!

February 18 - We arrived in England this morning and I got to watch the luggage go around and around and around! I thought it was great!

Then we went to Auntie Sharron and Uncle Chris and Auntie Sarah's house and I had breakfast - well, it tasted like breakfast, but I am VERY confused as to what time of day it is!

That evening, Uncle Melvyn, Auntie Caroline, Cousin James, Kerry, Isaac, Lauren, Nathan, and Cousin Nick all came to see me! I must be pretty special! When I finally fell asleep, I slept for 15 hours straight!

February 17 -

Today we travelled to England. We tried to leave yesterday, but our flight from Hartford was delayed and they told us that we had to drive to Newark - booo! I HATE the car! We realized that we were not going to make it and so we postponed our flight until today! Daddy brought Mummy and I to Milford where we met up with Grandad and Granny. Then Grandad drove Granny, Mummy, and I to Newark - it was a LONG ride! Once we got to the airport we had to check in and then wait for our plane . . . I was a really good girl even though it was WAY past my bed time!

I stayed up really really late on the plane - it was so much fun playing hidey boo with all the other people and eating bits of Granny's dinner! I slept for a few hours when they turned the lights off, then they turned the lights back on and Granny and I had breakfast (Oatios are yummy)!
