Don Dearwester got to meet me for the first time this weekend.

Don't I look pretty??
June 3 - Uncle Simon and Auntie Kelly's wedding (Palm Springs, CA)

CONGRATULATIONS UNCLE SIMON AND AUNTIE KELLY!!

Today Pastor Thomas married Uncle Simon to Auntie Kelly. The wedding took place in the evening, after the sun had gone down a bit. It was still really warm, but at least it wasn't sunny. I was a really good girl and was quiet the whole time.

Granny and Grandad walked Uncle Simon down the aisle.

Then Pastor Thomas asked if Simon and Kelly were of sound mind and body . . . or happily crazy about each other!

After the ceremony, we had a big party! I snuggled with Mummy . . .

. . . and I danced with Granny!

Then Uncle Simon danced with Auntie Kelly . . .

. . . and I snuggled with Daddy (are you noticing a pattern?).

Then Uncle Simon and Auntie Kelly cut the cake that Auntie Sharron and Granny made and Grandad and Auntie Dawn decorated!

Here is a picture of Mummy and Auntie Kelly.

Here is a picture of Grandad and Mummy and Pastor Thomas.

And here is Cousin Sarah with Mummy.
June 2 - Viceroy (Palm Springs, CA) - My blessing and the Barker family dinner party

Today we left Indio to travel to the Viceroy, the hotel where Uncle Simon and Auntie Kelly are getting married. We went for lunch at IHOP and then went to the hotel to settle in. Granny gave me a bath and then they put me in this white robe. I was a princess, but it was VERY hot!

Then Pastor Thomas held me and danced with me and talked about blessing me.

Cousin Sarah read a story for me . . .

. . . and then everyone, all of my friends and family, placed their hands on me or near me, and blessed me.

I truly am blessed to have so many people love me!

Mummy says I am too young for beer, but Cousin Ella got some and she isn't that much older than me. No fair!!

After the blessing we went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant . . .

. . . and sat near Cousin Sarah and Isaac!
June 1 - Day 3 of hanging out with the family (Indio, CA)

Today I started off dressed like a hula girl . . .

Then I got dressed up like Grandad's little princess!
May 31 - Still hanging out with the family (Indio, CA)

Uncle Al got to hold me for the first time . . .

. . . and so did Auntie Kelly!

I think Uncle Simon is a pretty cool guy!

Aren't I, I mean, we cute?

And I cuddled with Auntie Dawn too!
May 30 - Hanging out with the family (Indio, CA)

I don't know who thought it would be a good idea to put pants on me in 110 degree weather, but they didn't last long anyway . . .

. . . this outfit I like, it tells everyone that Daddy loves me, but it is a bit big!

And on to outfit number 3 . . . at least this one fits!

Auntie Maureen fed me my dinner . . .

And on to outfit number 4!

Isaac showed me the airplane!

And Cousin Nicholas tried to entertain me so Mummy and Daddy could eat!

I always like to snuggle with Mummy!
May 29 - Memorial Day Barbeque at Uncle Simon and Auntie Kelly's (Redlands, CA)

Granny and Grandad didn't have any hot water again today, so the people in the office said that we could move to a new apartment. The new apartment is much bigger and mummy and daddy can actually walk around in their bedroom without tripping over my pack and play.

After the move, we set off for the hour long ride to Uncle Simon's house. I was sleeping in the car . . . and then we hit traffic - lots and lots of traffic. I was not happy about that and we sat in traffic for so long that I was STARVING! Granny said it would be alright to feed me in the car since we were not moving very fast.

When we got to Uncle Simon's I met "Uncle" Al and "Auntie" Maureen and Uncle Melvyn and Auntie Caroline . . .

I got to snuggle with Cousin James too . . .

The whole family was there! Even Auntie Kelly's mum and dad.

Mummy brought so many clothes for me to wear that she changes my outfit at least once a day even if I don't get it dirty - silly Mummy!
May 28 - My first day of my first vacation! (Indio, CA)

Last night I met a lot of people for the first time - Auntie Sarah, Uncle Alex, Evan, Lily, and Ella; Auntie Sharron, Uncle Chris, and Cousin Sarah; and Auntie Dawn. It was a big family reunion!

This morning I met Uncle Simon and Auntie Kelly. I like to snuggle with Uncle Simon.

This is my cousin Ella - it's going to be fun growing up with her!

Mummy and Daddy's friends James and Jen came to visit as well. Their daughter Rylee, was born on March 1st, she is just a little older than me, and their son, Ian is 3 1/2! It was fun to meet them.

We went to the living dessert in Palm Springs. We saw warthogs and meerkats and leopards and hyenas - it was pretty cool! They also had a model train set that was as big as my yard - Grandad was so excited!

After that we went to see my mummy's cousin Marie and her partner, Craig, and mummy's cousin James and his son Isaac. (That's cousin Sarah in the picture not Cousin James, silly)

Then I went on my first trip to CPK.
